Biography

Katherine Anthony has lived in the area for almost four years and was co-opted onto the Town Council in October 2026. As a relatively new addition to the community, Katherine is keen to bring a fresh perspective to the council and the area, championing the place she has chosen to call home.

Katherine has a background in digital product management, having built effective teams and worked across different countries and cultures for the last 18 years. She also pursues a range of creative passions, including crafting, DIY, and growing cut flowers. Katherine hopes to bring her combination of digital skills, creativity and team building to her work on the council.

Her priorities are strengthening the sense of community, promoting local businesses and activities for the benefit of everyone in the town, and helping Llanfyllin thrive both now and in the future.
